I loved this project! Citizen Kanine is a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based dog training service. Curtis Johnson, the man behind the dogs, provides dog socialization and behavior training to neighborhood dogs in Southwest Minneapolis. Curtis hired me to design a business card for his services. This was a great project for me, as Curtis was open to a fun design.

As part of their training, Curtis brings a group of dog to Java Jack’s cafe near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, where they learn how to chill out while Curtis grabs a cup of Joe. I took this opportunity to take a bunch of candid photos of Curtis interacting with the dogs. The photo on the business card front needs no explanation – the dogs are completely focused on Curtis as the “head dog.” The photos on the back are some of his “regular” clients.
